Event

As the world advances and the culture of the community we serve become more empowered, we must also pivot our profession. So, what does that look like? We are inviting interpreters of all experience levels to the table to talk about the Interpreting Industry. We want to discuss how we go from interpreting models of the past, to an advanced professional group of service providers who love the community but do not unintentionally steal their power.

Event

Join public and private providers, insurers, and our D/deaf, Deaf-Blind, and hard of hearing communities in a facilitated dialogue about these important issues.

Registration is required.

If you have any questions, please email info@bridgesfordeafandhh.org or call 615.290.5147 (VP) | 615.248.8828 (voice).

Event

Families are faced with all sorts of new challenges and situations that they don't know how to handle. Frequently they turn to well-meaning friends or the internet for answers. Unfortunately, these sources don't always have the best or correct answers. It is best to turn to some one who has the right answers. Elder Law of Middle Tennessee will be available to share information on planning for your future, powers of attorney, living wills, caring for adults and children with special needs, and how you can use technology in this process.
