ASL Coffee Chat is a chance for anyone who enjoys American Sign Language to get together, chat, practice, meet new friends, and learn new signs. It doesn't matter if ASL is your first language, or you only know a few signs. The
location is at Starbucks Coffee, 2034 North Highland Avenue (TN State Hwy. 5), Jackson, TN 38305. Start 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. THIS IS A NEW PLACE FOR THE DEAF COMMUNITY!

Each year the National Storytelling Festival brings well known storytellers from many diverse cultures together for a wonderful weekend of laughs and sighs, tears and warmth- reminding us that we are all a part of one human community.

The purpose of SERID Inc. shall be to hold an annual conference. State Coordinators for the Deaf in the Southeastern United States are responsible for the coordination of the conferences. The target audience includes health professionals, employers, consumers, educators, and other persons interested in issues affecting individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, and/or late-deafened; and to further knowledge concerning these issues through publications, studies, and educational programs.

Information about JCIL's services and resources for individuals with disabilities will be available.

TSD Comprehensive Educational Resource Center invites parents, caregivers and families of children who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind and Deaf with other disabilities ages Birth - 21 to attend. Schedule to include Friday evening dinner and family activities. Saturday will include parent work-shops, student activities and meals.

Registration:  $30 for a family bringing up to five members.
