2. Identify and discuss parents’ impact on promoting their child’s curiosity and creative thinking through children’s literature.

3. Discuss the use of experience books and story boards to promote literacy development.

The Chattanooga Zoo will be hosting Boo in the Zoo Dream Night 2021 on Wednesday, October 13.

Dream Night is an event that welcomes all with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or special needs along with their families and caregivers. Dream Night is a no-cost, VIP event filled with decorations, furry friends, and more!

Mental Health Awareness Workshop

Monday, August 23rd

Join us at the Partnership Deaf Services office for a Mental Health Awareness workshop that will be presented by Jack Johnson and Joshua Weinstein from the Tennessee School for the Deaf. This workshop will help us recognize the signs of mental illness and how to get help when we need it. We encourage all of our Deaf community members to attend.

Back to School Backpacks!

Partnership Services for the Deaf, Deaf/Blind, & Hard of Hearing wants to help you get ready for school. We will be having a backpack & school supplies give-a-way in front of the office at 5600 Brainerd Road, Suite E-1. The event will be on Saturday, August 7th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. This will be a drive-up event. If you are Deaf, Deaf/Blind or Hard of Hearing, or have children that are Deaf, Deaf/Blind or Hard of hearing, don’t miss the chance to get your free backpack and supplies!
