Welcome to the Bringing the Stage to Life - NASHVILLE Workshop! This event is completely unique and cannot be compared to any short or long term Performance Interpreting conference. BSL Nashville focuses on preparing attendees to use Performance Interpreting skills for professional and local events. Because BSL Nashville is located here in Music City U.S.A. we have a unique opportunity to access a wide variety of musical styles and settings ranging from dinner theatres, to national shows, to local Honky Tonks, one time big named concerts, to the famous Grand Ole Opry stage.

Event

On World Hearing Day 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) will draw attention to the importance of early identification and intervention for hearing loss. Many people live with unidentified hearing loss, often failing to realize that they are missing out on certain sounds and words. Checking one’s hearing would be the first step towards addressing the issue.

Hands & Voices Family Leadership in Language and Learning (FL3)'s goal is to ensure that EHDI programs, supported by federal funding in the United States, use research-based concepts known to support families, parents, and caregivers of deaf or hard of hearing infants, toddlers, and young children identified through newborn hearing screening. We want what you want: for "our children" to reach optimal language, literacy, and social-emotional development.
