The Institute will begin at 2:00 pm on Monday and continue through noon Thursday.  There will be evening sessions on both Monday and Tuesday.  Participants who elect to stay in the cottages at TSD may check in on Monday between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Camp Rise & Sign 2015 will be held May 8-10 for Deaf and hard of hearing youth and their siblings. Campers will meet new friends and renew old friendships while enjoying crafts, games, swimming and a few surprises! Parents, your camper will come home tired but with memories that will last a lifetime.

Bridges is excited to announce the Second Annual Music City Derby Day, a Kentucky Derby party that will raise funds to benefit over 208,000 people in middle Tennessee with hearing loss.

See the Music: Madeleine Slate & Friends will be playing a concert on Sunday, March 22 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Belcourt Taps (in Hillsboro Village). This concert will be interpreted and CART will be provided. Performers will be Michael Logen, Adam James, Gavin Slate, and Madeleine Slate!

VisionWalk is a signature fund raising event hosted by the Nashville Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Funds raised are earmarked to researchers to find a cure for retinal diseases. The three-mile walk is to emphasize that there is hope in finding a cure for blindness of various types. Join the fun and entertainment available for the entire family! Along with our informative workshops, we will have artisan exhibits from members of our local Deaf and interpreting communities available. We will be offering a box lunch from Jason’s Deli on Saturday, June 27th. You will have your choice of a premium ham or oven-roasted turkey breast sandwich with leafy lettuce and tomato, chips, pickle and a chocolate chip cookie; vegetarian options will be offered upon request. This year we are doing things a little differently; the choice is yours!

The registration deadline for Bridges ASL Level II class has been extended by one week! Level I has already filled up, so don't miss your opportunity to take one of the remaining spots for this excellent class.

ASL Level II is a continuation of ASL grammar and vocabulary, Deaf culture and conversation practice.
