Celebrate Soung Don't Walk in Silence is a national fund- and awareness-raising walk created to help promote hearing health in our communities.  Half of the net proceeds will stay with the Greater Knoxville Sertoma Club to help fund their support for local hearing aid recycling banks, the University of Tennessee Speech and Hearing Department and friends of Tennessee's Babies with Special Needs.  

Registration opens at 8:00 a.m.; Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.  Please stay for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Fun Family Event which begins at 10:00 a.m.

While you are certainly welcome to drop in anytime between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 4th, there will be a short presentation at 6:30 PM EST with specific information on Purple’s interest in branching out into Tennessee.

The UT Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) is hosting its 4th annual golf tournament on Saturday, April 20th. They plan to use the funds raised to purchase hearing aids for young adults whose insurance will not provide for them. Lunch is provided for the golfers at noon with tee-off at 1:00 pm. The price for a single golfer is $65 or $250 for a team of 4 people. Please see the attachment for additional information on signing up and for contact information for additional questions.

St. Patrick's Day party with finger foods and activities. There will be a competition for who wears the best green. If children are in attendance, the competition will be for the best boy or girl wearing green.  If children are not in attendance, the competition will be for the best adult male or female wearing green. 

A business meeting will begin at 6.
