Training for Potential SSPs
In this training, you will learn techniques for working with a Deaf-Blind individual, including guiding, navigating stairs, handling an emergency situation, and more. You will also learn how to provide effective communication and environmental information. Interpreters are welcome to attend because sometimes they might work as an SSP during an interpreting assignment. Please wear comfortable tennis shoes for hands-on activities!
