The Los Angeles Unified School Board voted unanimously on May 11, 2022 to pass the “Restructure Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education Resolution” that according to its sponsor, School Board Member Jackie Goldberg, “provides a path for a more equitable & linguistically accessible education supporting ALL language opportunities for our students.” The LA Times reports that the resolution…
