Parents play a vital role as the primary language facilitators for their children with disabilities. Perspectives on parenting roles, especially fathers, continue to evolve. For children with speech and language delays, parents have tremendous responsibility to implement communication strategies in the home. However, this isn’t always the case. This session will explore strategies to foster greater parent participation and support for learning and communication outcomes in children with hearing loss and other diagnoses.
