BridgesEAST is proud to be a local agency located in the Tri-Cities and building on the more than 95 years of excellence Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has delivered. Most importantly, BridgesEAST exists because the northeast Tennessee community

invited us! Their advocacy and leadership makes our work possible! Together, we will identify needs and create solutions. Some of the programs we will bring include: high-quality and affordable Interpreting Services using local interpreters; Community Services, including client advocacy, workshops, ASL classes, community events, work with families and employers, job training, systems navigation, and much more; Youth Education & Services (will launch in a couple of years); and other services in coordination with our other locations including Advocacy (systems-change advocacy to serve our entire community), Empowerment (basic case management and resource referral), and more. 

Provides Sign Language Interpreting Services in the following Tennessee counties: Claiborne, Hancock, Hawkins, Sullivan, Johnson, Grainger, Hamblen, Greene, Washington, Carter, Unicoi, Jefferson, Cocke, Sevier, Union. Also serving parts of Virginia and North Carolina.
